Our journey began with a simple question: How do you visualise taste? Glenfiddich wanted to move beyond traditional whisky cues and create a fresh, distinctive visual world that captured the essence of each expression. The goal was to reframe perception, positioning the brand’s flagship collection as modern, aspirational, and unmistakably premium across every touchpoint.
The solution
Stand out in a crowded category by expressing modern luxury while honouring Glenfiddich’s craft.
We developed a distinctive visual identity built entirely from scratch using AI tools. Each asset was crafted to reflect the character of the whisky it represented, translating tasting notes into abstract visual language through form, colour, and texture. This approach allowed us to create premium, ownable visuals at speed, while maintaining the brand’s elegance and integrity.
The final suite was designed to be flexible across formats and channels, elevating Glenfiddich’s presence wherever it appears, from social to retail to out-of-home, while reinforcing its status as the most awarded single malt in the world.
The static visuals were transformed into animations tailored for social media channels and designed to enhance the brand's presence at retail touchpoints.
The new visuals were rolled out as part of a global campaign, launching first in the US and then across key international markets. They were deployed across out-of-home, point-of-sale, and social media, ensuring a consistent and premium brand presence at every consumer touchpoint.
